1 out of 5 stars I also hate to be negative.....   January 4, 2009
I loved these guys on America's Got Talent and asked for the Cd for
Christmas. Although I still think they are amazingly talented, the tracks on this cd were cheesy and I did not like the voice-over stuff. It was their violin playing that hooked me...this is totally different with the rap and teenage angst lyrics. I played it once and that is enough. Glad now that they didn't win America's Got Talent.

1 out of 5 stars Slightly disappointed   December 17, 2008
I was somewhat disappointed with the CD of Nuttin' But Strings. I saw them for the first time on TV, like most, however the CD has a lot of talking which I found very distracting, taking away from the awesome music talent they have. I would have liked the CD a whole lot more if the verbage was not present. I have played it through to the end only once because I really really was looking forward to savoring their musical talent and don't know that I will play it again because of the words. PLEASE MAKE IT WITHOUT THE WORDS....

5 out of 5 stars 5 stars   December 13, 2008
I fell in love with these guys the first time I saw them on AGT. I looked for an album for some time after that, and finally stumbled on one here. If you have ever heard them play, then you know how talented they are and the album does not disappoint. If you have never heard them play, then what are you waiting for? The way they blend the classic violin with quality hip-hop beats is unreal. Buy this CD for yourself and anyone else who loves great music.

5 out of 5 stars Buy from Amazon   December 4, 2008
I think it's great, a few solid tracks, I do think they should have limited the rapping, I like rap but they are much better at playing (i.e. Broken Sorrow and Thunder!). I bought it from their website only to pay more for it and to get lower encoded tracks? what's that about, should have stuck to Amazon like I usually do. Still highly recommend if your looking for some good tunes.

4 out of 5 stars Great, original sounds!   November 25, 2008
These young men are incredibly talented. After seeing them on the TV talent show, I did some research and discovered they had produced a CD. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to it myself and plan to give copies to my children to broaden their enjoyment of hip-hop...yes, violinists can be part of their musical world.
