Album Description Known more for blunts and beer that bullets and bling, Devin the Dude has kept a smile on Hip Hop's face while most of his peers have opted for a menacing scowl. Possessing the rare ability to inject humor, sex and substance in each of his rhymes, Devin has carved his own unique niche in rap music, becoming everybody's favorite guilty pleasure in the process. Devin, who has worked with blockbuster artists like Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Andre 3000, Dr. Dre and Raphael Saadiq, will release his fifth studio album, LANDING GEAR, on October 7, 2008.

Another great album from The Dude November 30, 2008 If you're tired of all the crap that has been going on lately in rap/hip-hop with all of these artists like Soulja Boy you should check out Devin's new album. It's refreshing to hear a rapper like Devin make music that doesn't try sound commercial or copied. His style is unique and this new album is mostly solid all the way through. I like his 4 previous albums a little bit more than this one, but Landing Gear is still a decent album. I recommend it if you like music like Too Short or Snoop Dogg.
Super Classic November 18, 2008 This CD is the best Devin has come out with. It has a grown man feel to it. I love how Devin is moving toward the 80's/new school sound, what a perfect blend. I have all his CD's and this by far gets the job done!
Big fan of Devin, But dissapointed November 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'll buy just about anything Devin comes out with, but i gotta tell you this one right here not his best work. Really his last all around good album was "JUST TRYIN TO LIVE". Waiting to inhale had its strong points, but i miss the old Devin with his fire lyrics with humor and lust added in them. It seems on this album he's trying to make you laugh, when on previous albums he made you laugh and think without really throwing it in your face. And on this album just a little too much singing balads. Don't get me wrong it has its good cuts, two to be precise. All around i gave it 3 stars only because i'm a huge Devin fan.
Thanks Dude October 19, 2008 Nice CD, one of the first Devin's I have bought in a minute. I use this one in the house than the ride. The beats are nice---they kind of grow on you. Most importantly my girl and I can listen to this one. She's not much into rap anymore, like many unfortuntely. My girl loves his flows about things that are important to us.
STILL THE DUDE October 11, 2008 Devin did it again, another great album. Best songs are: I Don't Chase, I Can't Make It Home, El Grande Nalgas, All My Draws, and Stray. Definately worth picking up!
