Product Description
Who knows what you want for Christmas better than Mannheim Steamroller?

Here at Christmas HQ, we've hit the right note every holiday season since 1985. This Christmas, we're serving a mix of nostalgia (Where Are You Christmas?) and flat-out fun (You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch! And 'Humbugs'!

'Christmasville' is the album the whole family will listen to as you travel over the river and through the woods this season!

This record was born out of a once-in-a-lifetime project: Universal Theme Parks commissioned Chip Davis to create music WITH vocals-- for a holiday show called 'Grinchmas'. Thus, for the first time, you'll hear Mannheim Steamroller with voice as the final instrument

Album Description
Distinctive vocal flavor with music from the classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, plus brand new Chip Davis originals! Mannheim Steamroller has sold more than 30 million Christmas albums - more than any other artist in music history! Mannheim Steamroller is a "New Age" group founded by Chip Davis, and co-founded by Jackson Berkey, well-known for their modern recordings of Christmas music.

2 out of 5 stars Not Our Beloved Mannheim Steamroller Sound   December 4, 2008
I couldn't wait to get this cd and I played it as soon as I got it home. I can honestly say I was disappointed. I wanted to hear that Mannheim Steamroller sound that only Chip Davis can create, but it is not really on the cd. Track 2 has it but not the rest of it. Track 12 sounds like it was borrowed from Trans Siberian. All of the others could be anybody, no one would know it was a Mannheim Steamroller recording. As far as it being a good Christmas CD, it is, I just wanted the sound I love so much.

1 out of 5 stars will not buy this album   December 1, 2008
I read the reviews and have heard the samples of the music. In all honesty I can't buy this album. Chip, I enjoy going to your Christmas Concerts when you are in my area (Orange County Ca.). Your music is unique, but I can't see myself going to your Christmas concert if all you play is the music from your new album. Chip, Don't feel you have to make another album because it has been a while since you had a new album. I can wait for the true Chip Davis Mannheim Steamroller music. I will keep playing your Christmas music (except the new one) forever. I can wait for a truly magical album. You done it before, and I know you can do it again..Always be true to your self and never sell yourself short.

1 out of 5 stars Just Awful...   November 30, 2008

The first two were brilliant.

This CD is simply a rip-off, trying to ride 15 years coattails since Fresh Aire. Save your money

1 out of 5 stars no more steam   November 29, 2008

My favorite Christmas music came from some of their earlier work. And even with some wordiness in some CD's, I kept the faith. But this is more than a disappointment. I feel like someone is milking a reputation. A fanfare? Try about a half a thought of one! Where did the steam for this group go? I learned my lesson on this disaster. No more Mannheim Steamroller for me!

1 out of 5 stars Once-in-a-lifetime   November 28, 2008

Chip, I really hope that this is truly a "once in a lifetime" experience for you. I'm praying you can get your health problems behind you and give us a better Christmas Present next year. This will join my collection of (I think) every album you've done, but it won't receive much playtime.
