 amazing album October 30, 2008
I really enjoyed this album, both cds are good, it depends what mood you are in, Party Friends is the album I listened most lately, well Claude Challe is amazing as always.
 Overrated October 14, 2008
I don't know why this album is getting so popular, maybe because of the name Claude Challe on the front cover
I think the Challe brothers are drifting away from what made their success, the songs in Select 2008 doesn't inspire "magic"
When you listen to Nirvana Lounge, Sun, Je Nous Aime, Les Bains... you feel (and you know right away) the art of Mr Challe ...
but in this latest production (actually started with Spacesex prior), it is just putting out modern music, mixing some regular tunes (that you can find on another labels) or even boring melodies together (i listened to both albums several times, and still can't find harmony in the way songs are put together)
it reminds me actually of one of the hotel costes album ...
it is sad to see that, after hotel costes, buddha bar and cafe del mar series, now challe music is losing its magic..
hopefully, cafe saint germain des pres series and jose padilla cds remains on producing quality music

Another Superb Challe Collection September 23, 2008
I have been a huge fan of Monsieur Challe for some time now, and this new 2008 collection is definitely a winner. I just received the CD yesterday, and I would say that the "party" disc #2 is the best of the collection. I think Claude breaks some new ground with this party disc, as it feels edgier & somehow cooler than previous releases. Where does he find these gems?
Highly recommended - Claude Challe still reigns supreme as the king of sensual grooves.

Excellent combination of rhythms. Loved this cd. This is a must have! Cd number one is to chill out and it is good but cd number two is awesome.
