Different For Danny and Difference Is Good! June 18, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I couldnt believe it , but Danny Wood from NKOTB had released a "Cool Relax" Jazz album. I actually admire that because he actually showed that he can do more than just sing, but also smooth out the flow with his easy laid back tones and ecclectic beats. If you want to chill and reflect on life or even get inspired to write some vocal music, I recommend picking this up for a source of inspiration and ideas.
The Right Stuff! April 16, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I couldn't believe my eyes when I discovered Danny was releasing a solo album. He had always been my fave New Kid, with his chiselled good-looks and amazing body and super-sexy voice. But could he cut in on his own? Well, the answer is definitely YES! Whilst I was a little disappointed it didn't sound as much like NKOTB as I would've hoped, (Valentine GIrl is still one of the best songs ever written) his ultra-modern, chilled dance tunes are out of this world! This album is a must-buy for any New Kids fans, but even non-fans will find this a truly amazing album to put on when you're just kickin' back and chillin' with friends. AWESOME!
It's alright August 11, 2001 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
D:Fuse's "Room full of smoke," is alright for sitting around with some friends but anywhere else it's useless. forget about this mix of Hip-Hop, latin, funk, etc. Just stick to one rhythm, because he doesn't have any of them down too well. I respect him as an artist, but the music doesn't touch a cartain feeling nor mood. Forget about this album, because it's nothing special.
Well Done Danny May 29, 2001 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The thought of Danny Wood releasing a cd was music to my ears! This cd is a mixture, better yet fusion of R&B, Jazz and Hip Hop. It's is so versatile, a laid back feel to it. Even though it's instrumental, it has a huge presence. It's so well produced, the mixture of the songs are done just right. You know when you have quality, when you don't even need words. Just the bear backs of it all-- beats.
JUST MY VIBE July 15, 2000 This CD is no joke. Danny is proving to the music biz he can be just as TIGHT while going against the grain creating his own unique sound for 2000. One of my favorite albums for 2000. Cee aka Carl
